Coven History and Information
The coven was created back in 1992 by a small group of friends who wished to learn about the craft. So Halloween 1992, Coven of the Moon was created by Avatar, in Beaumont, California. This coven would later form into the Dark Angels Pentacle Coven, lead by ~Overon Alburtis Magnus.
The DAPC began teaching to outside members in the early spring of 1994. The occultic community was not very embracing at first, due partly to the large numbers of underground covens and cults there within the city. There was a meeting called to issue an olive branch to these other covens on Old Hollows Eve 1995. This was the first of many gatherings that the DAPC would call.
At this meeting, the covens of the area met with ~Overon and they networked becoming one large coven, with the exception of one Satanic coven that didn’t wish to merge. On Halloween Night 1995, The Council was formed.
This Council consisted of 13 members, all leaders of their respective coven’s. Now DAPC had gone from a small group of 4 people to a large coven of 100 persons. Each bringing their own knowledge, spells, rituals, and so on.
Also, we included the acceptance of other covens that were not witchcraft/wicca orientated, we allowed Vampires to join, which broadened our magical knowledge to include the workings of Vampire Magic. Then on June 16th 1996 DAPC became an International Coven, reaching an all time enrollment of over 978 people, and 57 individual covens all working together under the DAPC constitution. In the summer of 1998 DAPC disbanded the coven, and went underground again.
The coven elders decided that it was time for DAPC to review their documents and revise them. Now DAPC is back and fully functional and is working to better serve the craft community.
Also, something that has always set DAPC apart from everyone else, is the fact that we have an open door policy. This means that if you wish to view our documents we will allow it. Where other covens keep their documents secret. Also we provide spell/craft/ritual/general information to any and all that seek it. It has been ~Overon’s personal goal to see that every witch has the information that he never had

Hi,
Im writing to say that im interested in following the wicca religion. Ive always felt attached to nature and i was wondering if you could give me some pointers on how to get into the religion. e.g what should i do?, do i need to join a coven?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
p.s im 14 years old, is that too young?
Well Josh, 14 is a little young but what ever information you need I will help you get. This blog was ment for that perpose.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO JOIN A COVEN!!!
Anyone who says that you do is full of crap and you need to run far and fast in the oppisite direction. Now I would like to ask you the following:
1. Why is it that you want to study to become a Wiccan/Pagan/Witch?
2. Have you done any research on your own and if so what have you looked for and what have you done? Have you tried any spells/rituals ect?
3. I WANT YOU TO KNOW, that undertaking this spiritual path is not for revenge, to toy around with, to impress your friends with, or any thing like that. This is very serious and very real, think of it in terms of handing a loaded gun with the safty off to a baby. The forces that you will study about can and will kill you if you are not smart. Wicca is different from Witchcraft the two are like night and day. What I post, publish, and write about on this blog and my coven site are my views as a Witch, not as a Wiccan. And I will talk to you more about these differences when and if you wish to IM me using Yahoo jdstyles4u or bubbagoo2 I use the jdstyles4u one more. Please make sure that you let me know who you are so that way I will talk to you and not ignore you. my messenger is usually on 24/7 so even if i dont reply i will get back to you sooner or later. my personal email is bubbagoo2@yahoo.com
as for sites and things to look at here is a suggested few.
http://dapc.wordpress.com
http://dapc.bravehost.com
http://www.witchvox.com
http://www.wiccantogether.com (this site is ok but it really is a bunch of posers, however there are a few of us there that are the real deal. The information that is passed around is good to read with a grain of salt)
http://witchschool.com or it might be .org could even be .edu
for places to buy books i really only suggest
http://www.half.com
many of the books that you will want to get and read you can purchase off of here for like $.75 cents with $4.00 shipping. This is the only place that i will buy books from. I highly suggest the Silver RavenWolf Teen Witch series, starting with Teen Witch. It is one of the best books that I have ever read. Now you will find others that say that her stuff is trash, and it is a little wrong on some things, but the basics which you will need are pretty spot on.
Dont worry about buying supplies, you dont need to buy anything. Make what you need, and I can and will help you with this too.
Any other questions that i have failed to cover please contact me and i will help out the best that I can.
